Stuck On It: The Magigoo Adhesive Guide for Every UltiMaker & Tectonic Filament
A warped first layer is still the #1 reason a print fails before it's even started. We just brought in the full Magigoo build plate adhesive lineup — 17 products covering everything from everyday PLA to PEKK. Here's exactly which Magigoo goes with which filament we sell, so you stop guessing.
💡 Why bed adhesion still breaks prints
Every filament chemistry releases from a build plate differently. A PEI sheet that holds PLA perfectly will let a nylon part pop loose mid-print, and the reverse is just as true — an adhesive dialed in for engineering filament can leave PLA welded to the plate. Magigoo builds a separate formula for each material family instead of one "do everything" glue, which is why picking the right bottle matters as much as picking the right filament.

📊 Filament compatibility chart
This maps every Magigoo product to the specific UltiMaker filaments and Tectonic-3D filaments we stock — not a generic materials list. If a filament isn't linked under a formula, we don't currently carry a match for it (see the special cases section below).
| Magigoo product | Formulated for | Compatible filaments in our catalog |
|---|---|---|
| Magigoo Original | PLA · ABS · PETG | |
| Magigoo Supergrip | PLA · PETG · ABS/ASA · TPU |
Best for coated, satin, or flexible build plates specifically — same materials as Original, different plate type. |
| Magigoo PRO PP & Glide PP | Polypropylene | |
| Magigoo PRO PC & Glide PC | PC · PC alloys | |
| Magigoo PRO PA & Glide PA | PA6 · PA6/66 · PA12 & filled nylons | |
| Magigoo PRO Flex | TPU · TPC / TPE elastomers | |
| Magigoo PRO HT & Glide HT | PEEK · PEKK (up to 150°C bed) | |
| Magigoo PRO PPGF | Glass-filled polypropylene | No current 3D3 filament match — see special cases below. |
| Magigoo PRO Metal | Metal-filled (e.g. BASF Ultrafuse 316L) | No current 3D3 filament match — see special cases below. |
| Magigoo PRO Kit | PA + PC + PP + Original | The four formulas above, bundled — covers nylon, polycarbonate, polypropylene, and everyday filaments in one kit. |
| Magigoo Glide Roller | Applicator tool | Not chemistry-specific — pairs with any Glide refill above. Compatibility follows whichever refill you load. |
| Magigoo Glide Supergrip | Same as Supergrip | 250ml roller refill — same filament list as Magigoo Supergrip above. |
| Magigoo Glide Kit with Supergrip | Same as Supergrip | Roller + 250ml Supergrip + cleaning cloth — same filament list as Magigoo Supergrip above. |

✅ Get set up
Every one of these pairs a specific Magigoo formula to a filament we actually stock — no guessing which glue stick to grab off a generic compatibility chart. If your material isn't listed above, or you're not sure which formula fits your setup, our team will match you to the right bottle before you waste a print.
